Keynote: General John Allen

General John R. Allen delivers keynote address to IPF December 6th, 2016 at the Morgan Library & Museum in New York City. General Allen has led a decorated 37-year career in the U.S. Marine Corp, culminating in his service as Commander of the United States Central Command and then as Commander of the NATO International Security Assistance Force. Immediately following his military retirement, General Allen was appointed Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Defense on Middle East Security, leading security dialogue with Israel and the Palestinian Authority. General Allen was then appointed by President Obama to coordinate international efforts against the Islamic State. General Allen now serves as Senior Fellow and Co-Director of the Center for 21st Century Security and Intelligence at the Brookings Institution.
