Can a stuck, oily aperture be cleaned without removing the aperture assembly from the lens?

In this episode of Stupid Lens Experiments, we have a oil prone Vivitar 28mm F2 lens (OM mount) that can't be fully disassembled. We use a unordinary method of cleaning it.

We had fun with this video as the video was being edited while the experiment was taking place, so we didn't know what the outcome would be.

Please do not use this method as it may damage your lens.
