Somnath Jyotirling, located in Gujarat, is one of the twelve most sacred Shiva temples, known as Jyotirlingas. It is believed to be the first among the twelve Jyotirlingas and is considered a highly revered pilgrimage site in Hinduism. The temple's history dates back to ancient times, current structure being rebuilt in 1951.
