Sugarland Master Volume Demo

This quick iPhone clip shows the Sugarland amp played (with a strat) at 4 different master volume settings, from all the way up to bedroom volume. At each Master setting, I tried to show how the amp behaves between clean and overdriven, because this is the region in which a master volume circuit has the most difficulty in preserving the natural sound and response of an amp. Disclaimer: this is not a professional demo. It’s simply an off the cuff iPhone clip. The iPhone’s built in audio compression has adjusted the volume levels so the relative volume levels you hear do not represent the actual relative levels heard in the room.
