How to Make Popcorn Balls | Popcorn Balls | Easy Homemade Popcorn Ball Recipe

Who remembers getting Popcorn Balls as a Trick or Treat goodie? There was a lady in my neighborhood when I was growing up and that was always what we could expect when we knocked on her door.
I don’t make these very often, but each time I do, I always think of my neighbor and the times she allowed me to help her in her kitchen when I was young.

Recipe:-

Popcorn Balls
Ingredients :
• 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
• 2 tbsp. oil
• 1/4 cup butter
• 1 pkg (10 oz) mini marshmallows
• 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
1. Add the popcorn kernels and oil to the Electric Pop & Stir. Place the lid on
top, then select the POP setting and cook until the kernels have popped
and there's about 3 seconds between pops, about 5-8 minutes.
2. Combine the butter, marshmallows, and salt in a large microwave-safe
bowl. Microwave for about 1+1/2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds."
3. Add the popcorn (being careful not to add unpopped kernels) to the
melted marshmallow mixture and toss to evenly coat.
4. When the mixture is cool enough to handle, about 5 minutes, f orm the"
popcorn into balls.

Lightly oil your hands before forming the popcorn balls to keep it from sticking .
Try adding some cereal, sprinkles, or a drop of foo d coloring to the marshmallow mixture to match a special holiday or event.
