The tooth-billed catbird, also known as the tooth-billed bowerbird or stagemaker bowerbird (scientific name Scenopoeetes dentirostris), is a medium-sized bird about 27 cm (11 inches) long. It is stocky with olive-brown upperparts, buffish white underparts streaked with brown, grey feet, a brown iris, and a distinctive serrated, tooth-like bill. Both males and females look similar, though females are slightly smaller. This species is the only member of its genus Scenopoeetes and is endemic to the mountain forests of northeast Queensland, Australia.

The tooth-billed catbird's diet mainly consists of fruits and young leaves from forest trees. It is known for its unique cat-like meowing calls. Males are polygamous and create a "stage-type" bower or display court decorated with fresh green leaves laid with pale undersides facing up, which they maintain by chewing through leaf stalks and removing old leaves. The display area includes at least one tree trunk used for perching during courtship displays.

This species is currently considered common within its limited range and is evaluated as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.
