Do you have leftover pieces of #filament from #3DPrinting? Do you not want to throw them away because surely there’s something that can be done with them? Have you saved them up for your #3D #printing pen but it doesn’t get used up? #Protopasta has a sample spool that’s only 50g per side and when I saw the picture in their blog post, I knew just what to do with all those little bits of leftover filament. Just a few filament changes for the first layer and the rest of the spool can be a single color but the result is a colorful, fun, sample spool that’s both sturdy and functional. I’ve printed samples spools that use less material, but they break or don’t work well. I always come back to these spools.

For my @Josefprusa printer there’s nothing more fun than adding a visualizer to watch the extruder in action. This spider and fly is perfect for #Halloween!
