As a former salesperson, I have been guilty more times than I care to admit of not adopting assets, messaging, training, etc that have been created for me by my marketing team.

There are many reasons why this is the case including the fact that a lot of what I was given was created in a silo without any of my input, & I felt that I had a unique angle/POV that worked for me. It also felt like a lot of jargon & high-level information, versus speaking to the reality of what I was experiencing on the front lines on a day-to-day basis.

IMO, although having the right tools/software/workflows, etc are key, fostering human-to-human relationships is at the core of improving these issues.
