Hewlett Packard HP-97 Calculator - Playing the Moon Rocket Lander Game

Описание к видео Hewlett Packard HP-97 Calculator - Playing the Moon Rocket Lander Game

The HP97 Calculator is primarily for business applications but games were also developed for it.

The Standard Pac includes a game called Moon Rocket Lander and the object is to safely land on the moon. Get it wrong and you could end up making your very own moon crater!

You start by falling towards the surface at 50 feet per second from a altitude of 500 feet. You can carry out rocket burns on a scale from 0-9 (9 being max thrust) but beware, there is limited fuel.
The idea is to slow the lander enough to make a smooth landing without running out of fuel.

I show the related manual pages as well as the program listing.
The game is loaded from magnetic card.
