Redesigning AirBNB: Book with confidence and clarity

Ever get stuck in the Airbnb loop? Tapping back-and-forth to compare amenities, then switching to Google Maps to check the location, only to forget which was which? I decided to fix that.

Booking a property on AirBNB should be stress free, but the current Airbnb experience can leave users stuck when it matters most. Travelers need to compare their top choices and understand the neighborhood, but are forced into a frustrating cycle of app-switching and guesswork. This erodes trust and confidence right before tapping the Reserve button.

To solve this, I designed two key solutions:
A side-by-side 'Compare' feature to see property suits the best.
An intelligent location context that shows not only nearby landmarks and services, but also the property's travel distance from your unique starting point.
