Engine 502 *Ride Along* Dwelling Assist to 905

Engine 502 responding to assist Station 905 (Blue Rock Fire Rescue - Millersville) on a dwelling. First arriving units found a small fire that was extinguished. The Engine and Rescue crew reported to manpower staging and were then tasked with helping Engine 903 and Engine 66-1 with picking up hose. Willow Street Fire Company. Taken 7/30/24

A: Our fire house is located in the town of Willow Street, just south of Lancaster City, Lancaster County Pennsylvania.

A: That is called the "Roto-Ray," it is a spinning light designed to catch drivers attention.

Q: "Why is the call so far away?" or "Why does it take so long to get there?"
A: Many of our responses, or at least many of the ones that are uploaded are responding to assist other departments. Usually another firehouse can be seen or is passed by who is already on the call. We can reach the far end of our first due in West Lampeter Twp within 5 minutes, and in Providence Twp about 7.
