The Shop Window - I Run - Official Music Video

I Run is the third single to be taken from The Shop WIndow's third album called Daysdream, the album is due out May 2024.

Daysdream is a double album made up of sixteen tracks.

The band see the double LP as being like two mini albums, a ‘Days’ and a ‘Dream’ record. ‘Days’ is filled with upbeat Janglepop/indiepop and ‘Dream’ with a more melancholic Dreampop/Shoegaze/Psych angle to it.

Carl Mann talks about the lyrics to I Run -
“The lyrics are about the happiness and confidence that my family has given me. Most of my life I’ve never wanted to be at home, but now there is no other place that I would rather be.”
