The Basics of Finding an Internship

Описание к видео The Basics of Finding an Internship

While this video is focused towards quantitative finance it will apply to most other internship applications. The basic process is to apply online by submitting a resume and then interviewing. If you have a good resume you'll get more interviews. If you can interview well you will have more final offers.

A good resume will be focused and not a list of random skills.

Good interviews will be a conversation not a session where you are being grilled with questions. Try to provide enough details to answer the interviewer's questions but don't ramble or list a bunch of other skills that are not relevant to the question.

Lastly, finding internships is hard. Less companies provide internships than hire full-time candidates. Finding a job will be challenging however finding an internship will be harder due to the smaller number of intern opportunities.
