#XRP: Did The #SIMPSONS Predict The XRP Credit card?
As I mentioned earlier, I guess the Simpsons don't need a further introduction. Nevertheless, I have a feeling that most of you are not from the US, so let us reword that. So for those who don’t know, the Simpsons is an American animated sitcom created by Matt Groening that depicts the life of the Simpson family, which includes Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie.
It parodies American culture, society, television, and the human condition while taking place in a fictional town called Springfield. It has also been dubbed the longest-running American animated series, having premiered on December 17, 1989, and having accumulated 721episodes ever since.
So, this show is quite famous, and I remember watching after episodes and episodes of it during my childhood. But, the thing is, Simpson's witty humor isn't the sole reason that the show has recently gained some popularity. As throughout history, Simpsons has quite often predicted multiple events that turned out to be true.
Like the time, when it predicted cryptocurrency, in an episode from the eighth season called “My Sister, My Sitter". Originally aired on 2 March 1997, it neatly presents the show's stars, Homer and Marge, outside a place called the Crypto Barn, beneath which a caption reading, a place for codes.
