This video considers how the OpenNMS drools engine can be used to change the severiy of an alarm from the default severity defined in eventconf.xml.
This allows criteria on nodes to determine which alarm severity is applied to specific alarm types and is useful where the system is used to serve the needs of multiple different networks or customers.
