Pokemon Alpha Sapphire Speedrun in

This game is super fun, really enjoyed playing it.

This can obviously be beaten by a lot, the game isn't even a week old yet, but I'm almost certainly not going to take this game seriously, and definitely not unless RNG manipulation is worked out for gen 6 games. Why?

1) You can catch level 15 Pokemon before you set out on Route 105. Like a Poochyena with Play Rough (for Brawly) and Bite, or Taillow with Brave Bird, it would be much, much faster to use, but incredibly random without RNG manip of some sort. So optimising this game would be a huge hassle without it

2) To optimise movement in this game, you would have to use the circle pag just about everywhere. I actually really like the circle pad...but it's finicky. I would be hyper critical of my movement everywhere, and forever unsatisfied if I took a game like this seriously. So I don't see it ever happening, and would rather just level this game at Stage 2 of speedrunning, and go back to games I can actually optimise.
