Are you seeing "Unable to Preview Video"? "Segment Import Timeout"? in your Youtube app on your Android phone when you try to upload a video? I have a solution!

All the Youtube advisors are telling you that when you make Youtube shorts, you need to upload via the Youtube app on your mobile, but publish on the desktop because you can edit the thumbnail when you upload it through the Youtube app on mobile.

But you can't, because you ran into the dreaded "Unable to Preview Video" error? Or perhaps you can load the video, but when you hit NEXT/DONE, you get processing, then the dreaded "Segment import timeout" error, which is also known to crash the Youtube app itself?

Don't worry, I have a workaround, at least for those of you on the Android side. This solution worked for me when I created videos on the PC (Davinci Resolve or Shotcut), transferred them to my Pixel 6, and tried to upload them to Youtube from there and I ran into these dreaded errors, and the other solutions I found didn't work for me, so I found my own. I hope this tip work for you too.
