Spermatogenesis is a process of formation of sperm from spermatogonial germ cell in testis. The whole process is divided into two phase - spermatocytogenesis and spermeiogenesis. Spermatocytogenesis is process where spermatogonia form spermatid and process of maturation of spermatid into mature sperm is called spermeiogenesis.
