the first days of 2026 were all about resting, doing the things i love the most, and slowly getting back to others — including studying again.
spending the first day of the year by the sea, listening to the sound of the waves and smelling the salty sea air while eating at my favorite pizza place. enjoying time with myself and my own silence, reading Greek Lessons by Han Kang, unboxing my new favorite journal, lighting my favorite incense and letting its woody and citrus scent fill the room as night slowly falls. ending the day doing one of my favorite hobbies: junk journaling — just me and my traveler’s notebook, letting creativity flow in the moment. i wish all my days could be like this, but maybe it’s precisely because they aren’t that they feel so special and i get to enjoy them even more.
