business development is totally new to me. in this video i'm showing you my first step of validating my business model.

i'm at a critical stage of generating revenue for my startup. i've been a software engineer for a very long time and building a product is very natural to me, but growing a business from my product is the first.

for the past few months, oona continues to catch attentions and the signup velocity is consistently high without much marketing effort. but there's an emerging question:

why the conversion is low?

what's going on in the user journey from brand awareness to becoming paying customer? to find out where is the friction, i took the first step - pay wall. i'm removing the free trial from oona.

it's a scary move but i'm telling you the reasoning behind it anyways in this video.
