Do not fall in love with a house until the key is in your hand and your agent tells you that it is recorded and the house is all yours!

A lot of times during a buying/selling process things fall out of contract. When this happens a lot of times buyers are devastated that their "Dream Home" just fell through the cracks.

Time and time again, we have spent countless hours consoling a buyer, or wiping the tears off a buyer's face after a deal falls out of escrow. It is heartbreaking, We completely understand, as this has happened to all of us personally as well. We also understand the emotional rollercoaster you are going through during the buying process. It is our job to anticipate the ups and downs and try to prevent those from affecting you as the buyer.

We have seen it enough times to cautiously remind buyers to "like" a house or to even "visualize yourself living" in a certain house. But please do not fall in love with a house when it doesn't actually belong to you yet!

And remember, if you have a deal fall out of escrow, usually that just means that your actual dream house is right around the corner. Get up, dust yourself off, put a big smile on your face and lets go find you that house that you that house that checks off all the boxes that we can actually call your "Dream Home"!
