Everybody loves a good sports rivalry. Where would the NFL be in the 21st century without Tom Brady vs. Peyton Manning? Would baseball even be half cool without the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees’ mutual hatred towards the other?

No sir. But many sports fans and media love to think that some really mediocre rivalries are great. Spoiler alert: They actually aren’t the least bit interesting.
