Composer's note:

Suburban Rhapsody is a tribute to the funky-fusion music of the great composers of the past such as Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea.

A reference to American music of the 70s and 80s mixed with harmonies and melodies derived from the Spanish musical language.

A piece, in its first part, characterised by well-defined rhythmic patterns, energetic and improvised and a second part that is more lyrical and meditative.
