Channa chaat :
Ingredients
Chick peas 400 grams boiled
Potato 2 medium size boiled and cut in cubes
Crushed cumins half teaspoon
Salt
Chaat masala 1 tablespoon
Green chutney 1 tablespoon
Imli chutney 2 tablespoons
Cucumber chopped half
1 medium size onion chopped
1 medium size tomato chopped
Yogurt 3 tablespoons
Directions:
1. In a large mixing bowl add chick peas potatoes, cucumber, onions tomato and all the spices.
2. Add green chutney and imli chutney
3. Add yogurt
4. Mix well and decorate with some imli chutney and papri .
Chicken Tempura :
Ingredients:
300 grams boneless chicken cut in strips
1 cup flour
2 tablespoons corn flour
1 egg
Half teaspoon black pepper
Half teaspoon garlic powder
Half teaspoon onion powder
Salt to taste
Half cup cold water
1/4 teaspoon crushed chillies
Baking powder 1/4 teaspoons
Vinegar 1 and half tablespoons
Soya sauce 1 tablespoon
Directions:
1. For chicken marination in a bowl add chicken , black pepper, garlic and onion powder, vinegar, crushed chillies , soya sauce and salt mix well and merinate for 1 hour
2. For Coating in a separate bowl add egg flour , black pepper , salt , garlic powder , baking powder and chilled water to make thick slurry .
3. Pre heat oil and once coat a chicken in a simple flour and then dip in a slurry and coat well .
4. Fry for about 5 to 7 min on medium heat
5. Enjoy chicken tempura with chilli garlic sauce . 🍗
Creamy Fruit Trifle
Ingredients:
half litre milk
4 to 5 tablespoons of custard powder of your choice of flavour.
5 tablespoons sugar
Mixed cut fruits of your choice , bnana , pineapple, strawberries or mixed fruit tin .
Vanilla cake
Jelly chunks
150 grams full cream
50 grams condensed milk
Directions:
1. In a pan add milk and let it boil
2. In a separate bowl mix custard with little bit of milk
3. When milk get boiled add custard slurry and continue mix it until get thick and add sugar mix well
4. Place the custard in a fridge and let it cool for 1 hour
5. After 1 hour take custard out of fridge and whisk well with hand beater .
6. Then slowly add cream and condensed milk and mix until it gets creamy texture.
7. Then add fruits . And mix well
8. In a large serving dish make a layer of vanilla cake then pour the custard on it .
Chilled in fridge and enjoy .
