Everyone who’s into Japanese or import cars knows that the MK4 Supra is one of the most sought after vehicles in the market today. It is arguably the “greatest” Supra ever produced and shows little to no signs of slowing down when it comes to climbing values. However, it hasn’t completely overshadowed its ancestors to become the “only” Supra worth buying.

Since values of the MK4 have solidified for as near as makes no difference, $100,000 for a collector example, some of the older cars have become a very appealing option for someone who doesn’t want to spend that much on a collector/sports car. As the MK4’s continue to climb, we expect the MK1-MK3’s to climb along with them.

This car, the MK3 Supra, lacks some of the iconic styling and power options that a MK4 provides, but still has a lot to offer. You get a 3.0L turbo inline six wearing the legendary Toyota name, a 5 Speed Manual Transmission, Auto Climate control, a CD Player, Cruise Control, a Targa Roof, Spacious trunk and back seats that actually become somewhat usable, and pop up headlights that no one can be mad at.

The 5 Speed Manual, Turbo, Targa Roof MK3 is the one you want to go for. Service receipts and maintenance are always a bonus. Automatic Non-turbo cars drastically affect the value of these, sometimes worth maybe 50% less unless it has some unique circumstances.

Either way, this remains one of the best body styles to come out of 90’s Toyota, and it has been nothing but a pleasure for us at the store to have this one around!
