I found an eagle feather in the yard. There is an eagle nest in a Great Pine on the lake property. A baby eagle screeched all summer long...actually annoying. Since it is illegal to have an eagle feather I filmed it for reference and carved this. Later in the day the feather was gone...I guess like deer horns small animals eat them?

About myself and the channel. My name is Ben and I spent 22 years in the US Army flying helicoters. In the last 10 years since retirement I have worked for Air Methods as Emergency Medical Helicopter Pilot. It is not often that you get a retirement check and then get paid for doing the same thing. I do enjoy the flying and the schedule. I work 7 days on and then get 7 days off. I work a spilt 3/4, meaning 3 twelve hour shifts of days and then transition over to 4 twelve hour shift of nights.
This schedule gives me plenty of time to pursue my other hobbies, wood carving, gardening, metal working, and a ton of other things that strike my interest. I have been carving since I joined the military and have sold many carvings.
