This project took more from me than I expected.
I didn’t just make a song… I built a memory.
I created the rhythms first — then shaped the visuals around them like a story that wanted to be told.
While watching the final cut, I actually cried.
Because it stopped feeling like mine alone.
It felt like something older… something familiar. Like something connected to me, and maybe to those who came before me.

As a child in primary school, I was part of the cultural drama performances — dressing up, acting stories, moving to rhythms that carried history. Back then it was just school activities… but those moments stayed with me.

Years later, those memories came back while creating this.
I built the rhythms first, then I crafted visuals around them so the sound could tell a story, not just play in the background.

If you’ve ever felt drawn to a culture, a voice, a place, or a history you can’t fully explain… this might speak to you too.
This is music, but it’s also memory.
