Oh Baby! What a gorgeous video to reboot this project with.
Loved the filters YouTube Editor offered back in the day. It's how I created the black and white Vogue-like grainy quality!

Vogue is one of the three singles Madonna released in 1990, and it was an auspicious year. Foreshadowing things to come.

Watch me telling the story about how Madonna met her dancers and I commemorate the 2016 documentary that had just come out, Strike a Pose.
It was about the same dancers that initially came into her life, for Vogue.

What I did not tell in the video, is that the dance style Vogueing was part of Ball Dance culture, which is featured in the Netflix Series Pose.
So the backstory of Vogueing is even better known in 2024, than it was in 2016 when I recorded this.

ABOUT THIS REPOSTED SERIES

This series dates to 2016, and is retrieved from the archives.
It was named after my yoga studio, M Yoga, and I created a series of videos inspired by Madonna.

In 2016 I also created a Dutch online program.
This will be reposted here on this channel as well.

I will be restoring the entire YouTube database:
