Footage has been released of the moment a Delta plane caught on fire after landing at an airport in Seattle last Monday.

The newly released video obtained by KOMO News shows the Airbus A321neo arriving from Cancun, Mexico, with 189 passengers onboard.

Just moments into the video, the nose of the plane bursts into flames, with black smoke rising into the air.

Passengers are then seen climbing out of the side of the aircraft, walking onto the wings and sliding down the emergency chutes.

According to authorities, an investigation into the exact cause of the fire is still underway.
