This is our method for ear posting.

I also never got around to expanding on the use of adhesive remover, I strongly recommend using a remover intended for use on skin, we use Smith and Nephew Adhesive Remover "Unisolve"
Materials used:
●Leukotape P Rigid Strapping Tape
●Heavy Duty Zip Ties
●5/8" Backer Rod
●Double Sided Tape
●Johnson and Johnson Gauze Pad
●Medipore H Surgical Cloth Tape
●Cramer Tuf-Skin Colorless Spray
●Tape Me Away Kinesiology Tape
●Renfrew Brand Hockey Tape (Sold at Canadian ●Tire and SportChek)
●Rubbing Alcohol
●Cotton balls
●Gold Bond Medicated Powder (in a hair dye bottle from Sally Beauty)
