Sweetest Star Wreath and More!

When the new catalog came out and I saw the Sweetest Star Bundle, I knew it would be on my first order. It reminds me of a set from Stampin' Up! long ago called Star Santa. I especially loved how they punched out stars, made them dimensional by scoring and folding, and then turned them into a cute wreath! What they didn't tell us is how to make it!

So I pondered this dilemma while on my recent vacation. I took along several stars and tried to come up with ideas on how to make the wreath. Making the stars was the easy part - attaching them to something to make the wreath was not. When I got home, I tried out my idea, tweaked it a bit, and determined that it was successful! I made the base of my wreath with thick cardstock and the Deckled Circles dies and used Dimensionals and Foam Strips to attach the stars. The wreath is so fun to make and looks as adorable as the photo in the catalog. I hope you enjoy my technique!
