Dyson V8 4 years on. finally changed the battery!

so finally after 16-18 months I have finally got round to changing the worn out battery in my dyson v8.
Over the past few years the run time as kept decreasing to the point where I needed to charge the vacuum 2 or 3 times to Hoover the whole house or even the whole car.
Even after taking off a finished charging cycle I may only get 6-7 minutes of run time.
Buy now, even though the battery was bought 2 years ago, I have got my full run time back.
So from memory I bought the V8 in 2017 and in only 16-18 months I could see dramatic decrease in run time. There is a 2 year warranty which unfortunately I just missed out on by only a week or two (typical). So I got the replacement battery in 2019 but only got re l round to fitting it in late 2021.
So - let’s see how long this last.
