Righteous Brothers - Shindig Pilot with Little Richard - 4 Clips 1964

This pilot for Shindig would have been the first television appearance by the Righteous Brothers, performimg with one of their music idols, Little Richard. But it never aired. In the first official episode of Shindig, Bill and Bobby appeared with Same Cooke and The Everly Brothers instead. Here are the three songs in which Bobby and Bill sang in the Pilot. This version of Koko Joe includes some antics with the mic, and Bill does the James Brown dance step! In the finale, they join the dancers, forming a male chorus line with Pat and Lolly Vegas and Delaney Bramlett, to Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On. This pilot has nonstop energy from everyone. Just incredible!
