Can we pat the USA on the back? just this once because we all know I might have to get on here in a few weeks time and roast the USA...

After piggy-backing off of an act that was implemented during President Bush's era (HEROES ACT), President Biden has declared the student debt/loan situation in the USA a national emergency which has granted "him" the ability to modify (cancel) student loans.

Out of all the crazy things that are happening in the USA right now- this is tremendously HUGE news for millions of Americans. Living in the USA engulfed with debt is one of the hardest cycles to get out of. It stunts your societal growth tremendously.

Many Germans can not even understand being $50,000 in debt for something as fundamental as school. Germans are not the only people like this- almost every European counterpart can not relate to the American system.
