🐝 How to assemble the Australian designed Hive IQ poly hive. Orara Valley Honey. 26/12/2023

🐝 When I lost my hives to fire at Nymboida this year, Serge & Judith from Coffs Beekeeping Supplies at Woolgoolga reached out to me & offered me a great deal on new Hive IQ equipment.

🐝 Hive IQ owner Victor Croker arranged for me to receive sixty 9-frame triples at a reduced price to replace the ten-frame poly gear I lost.

🐝 I am incredibly grateful for the generosity shown by Coffs Beekeeping Supplies & the Hive IQ team.

🐝 My Hive IQ gear arrived on three huge pallets & I am in the process of putting it together & getting bees going in them.

🐝 This video goes through the process of assembling each component of the hive & I also discuss the advantages and improvements of the Hive IQ equipment over the old Paradise boxes.

🐝 I am also very grateful for the support from Haymes Paint, who donated 30 litres of acrylic paint. Petrie's Mitre 10 in Coffs Harbour tinted the paint for me & organised pickup.
