PERIPHERY - Wildnolly [Wildfire Heavy RAG3 Mix]

The NOLLY variant of Periphery's "Wildfire", off of the 2023 album "Periphery V: Djent is Not a Genre".

This track was created using the Periphery V Producer Pack.

Included in this NOLLY variant are the Main Vocal, Backing Vocal, Bass, Rhythm Guitar, Layer Guitar, Guitar Solo, Synths, Ad Prod & FX, and Drum layers.


Like the other Nolly variants, this one was fun to make. However, the second half doesn't pop as much as the first, sadly. Just the nature of the chill parts of the song.


0:30 - Ch0nky gr00ve.

0:55 - B@ss shr3ddin'.



1:10 - Chug-a-lug. 90's motor and muffler sound, baby!



1:30 - Love the little lick / end of the riff here. So... tangy. Such force and aggression to the bass!

1:45 - Same deal here. The ending to that bass riffing is so sick.



2:10 - The Event bassline. Very audible here, lol.

2:30 - Even more The Event.



2:45 - Back to that gnarly, gnawing bass. So much groove. Kinda sounds like Four Lights a bit? But a faster tempo.


3:00 - Matt gettin' choppy.


3:15 - Bass goes even lower / heavier in the mix. Lol...



3:25 - Kinda nice to hear a solo take the backseat for once. Almost more for atmosphere or effect in layering, and less for the purpose of a "solo".




3:40 - Pre-breakdown.


3:50 - Breakdown incoming. It's heavy.




4:05 - The Event bassline and riffs reprisal.



4:25 - Jazzy section!




4:45 - You can hear the bass stewing in the back a little. Not as clearly audible, however.

5:05 - Piano also reprising The Event motif.



5:20 - Bass in the back becomes slightly more audible, along with layering guitar.




5:40 - Start your jet engines.



6:15 - Jumpscare. Sorry for the heart attack!
