These are the voices of four individuals who live, work, and play in the Brecon Beacons National Park captured in Tony’s films - Natural Outsiders

Tony was one of 10 young storytellers to receive £1,000 in funding and training from Ocean City Media as part of our new bursary scheme, which aims to amplify the voices of those less heard in National Parks. 


Jess ( aka The Protector) used to visit the Brecon Beacons National Park as a child with her parents when they could afford the fuel to get her there and now believes nature is a key thing we all need to experience –She believes the National Park is special as it allows her to explore her hobby – Mountain Rescue, it gives her a social life and has helped her find a family and team in the mountain rescue team.
