Auto Safety Kit — A Good Gift Idea 🚘🎁

Back when Clinton was still president, I got an auto safety kit for my car. At least I think it was around 1999, as that's the date on the road flare. 😄

That car I drove is long gone, as is the one that proceeded it. Yet, that same yellow bag is still driving around with me, even after so many years.

I probably wouldn't have thought about it this Christmas season, even though the weather can be brutally fatal. Yet, there was a really cute kit at Aldi. It's the Justin Case Deluxe Travel Safety Kit. It was only $20 and it's a pretty good upgrade from my current kit.

Although, both kits are missing some items from the other. That leads to the important message in this video. Disaster can strike while driving. That's why it's important to be prepared. A gift like this is a catalyst. It can… jumpstart …a review of prepping items in the car.

After all of those years, I didn't realize that my emergency flashlight was quite dated and it didn't even have any batteries.

If you're looking for a last minute gift for friends and family, maybe this video is helpful. Even if you're not Christmas shopping perhaps this video is a friendly reminder to check your car. Even though I haven't used every item in my emergency car gear, I do remember some of those implements being quite useful when away from home.
