Who lived in a house like this? The Elizabethan House | A hidden gem in Great Yarmouth

Описание к видео Who lived in a house like this? The Elizabethan House | A hidden gem in Great Yarmouth

In todays video I visit The Elizabethan House in Great Yarmouth. It was built in around 1596 and has had many incarnations since. Once one of the finest houses in Great Yarmouth it's location in the Historic South Quay makes it a lovely visit for an hour or two if you are visiting the town. It was allegedly the location for one of the most important political decisions in English History. The place where the execution of Charles I was discussed and decided in 1649.
The house is currently maintained by Norfolk Museums on behalf of the National Trust. Entry is free with a National Trust membership but there is a small entry fee for none members.
You can find more details about visiting the Elizabethan House here:

As always all filming, editing and research is done by me.
