We will learn how to draw a finished wall in two stages: the lower part is wood panelling, and the upper part is plastic paint. The first basic wall we will work with consists of 25 cm of brickwork, 2 cm of plaster, and 1 cm of plastic paint on both sides. The names of the materials in English in Revit are: brick (common), plaster, and paint (plastic). The second basic wall we will call the "wood finish wall" consists of 25 cm of brickwork, 2 cm of plaster, and 3 cm of wood panelling on both sides. The name of the wood material in Revit is "walnut." To view the materials in Autodesk Revit, click the "Realistic" command to see the wall layers clearly. Then, click the "Thin Line" command in Quick Properties. To draw a composite wall consisting of two basic walls on top of each other, the lower wall is the one with the wood panelling, 2 meters and 20 cm above the zero level, and the painted wall is above it up to the first floor level. To exit the command, click "Double Scape" or "Modify." Walls can also be drawn using the "pick" function. Draw a line on the grid so that the location line is: wall centerline.
