How to make a Pin Cushion Scrap Bag

Fun Project Series #1 - if you do a lot of sewing, then you'll love this little project! You can make it with a couple of fat quarters, or with fabric scraps - and it will keep your sewing area neat and clean. PLEASE NOTE: The sizes for the pin cushion and the hinge have been reversed in the video - (bad editing on my part!) So to clarify: The pin cushion piece is 7" x 8" and the hinge piece is 8" x 4 1/2". Your finished pin cushion (after it is stuffed) should measure approximately 7" x 4" and your hinge after it is finished should measure 4" x 4 1/2". The scrap bag is 9" x 16" and so is the liner. The boning is 3/4" in width and is cut 18" long. You can make your own boning by cutting it out of an old plastic jug! Have fun with this project!
