Prime Minister Narendra Modi has issued a crucial health warning about the alarming rise of obesity among India's youth. Addressing an NCC rally in New Delhi, PM Modi cited reports predicting that one in every three Indians could be obese in the coming years, leading to a surge in diabetes, hypertension, and other fatal diseases. He urged everyone, especially the youth, to be vigilant and proactively adopt healthier lifestyles. His key practical advice was to reduce daily oil consumption in food by 10% to stay slim and safe. During the event, the PM also praised the NCC for shaping confident and socially conscious citizens and expressed happiness at seeing the increased participation of girl cadets. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh was also present at the event, which concluded with a vibrant cultural performance.
