HOW TO: ADJUST & CHECK WASTEGATE CRACK-PRESSURE | 1.4L MULTIAIR TURBO (GT1446 Turbo)

In this video, we'll be showing you how to check your wastegate crack pressure on the 1.4L Multiair Turbo, which applies to the stock wastegate, as well as the Forge Wastegate system. This method can be used on stock turbos, as well as upgraded turbos.

Checking your crack pressure via this method is accurate and truly the best way to ensure you're turbo is boosting properly, whether on the stock tune or modified tune.

* In our video, the Forge Wastegate has a Yellow spring installed (recommended crack pressure is 13-15psi).

* Tool used to check pressure:
Mityvac MV8255 (you must use this one, other Mityvacs may not apply pressure, only vacuum)
