First time rallycross at Duivelsbergcircuit Maasmechelen | VW Polo Maxi

Heading for the third round of the Dutch Rallycross Championship to the Duivelsbergcircuit in Maasmechelen, Belgium. The first time I drive on an other Rallycross than the Eurocircuit. Race also counts towards the Belgian RX championship.

On saturday we already could do some practice laps, and immediately we had some decent speed with the Volkswagen Polo. A POV video can be found here.

In the heats we were constant unlucky, but in the finals finally the luck came towards our side. Finally our first podium / top-3 positon of the season in a very strong field once again. A bit surprise for myself aswell for others.

This weekend I changed some settings on the GoPro hero 9 camera. Most important to turn of the stabilisation. I had the feeling it didnt make the speed justice, aswell of sometimes how rough it can be. Also it will help better with looking back what the car actually does at certain points. With stabilisation you cant see that less well.
