This happened while farming Crank-a-kai coins from bosses in the Infinite Inferno. After walking into the door before the Dr. Nogut fight, I found that Gargaros either spawned within or somehow got himself stuck in a building on the bottom part of Shopper's Row. My guess as to why this happened is that Gargaros simply spawned abnormally, as he didn't appear to move after appearing. We know that yo-kai spawning oddities can occur in a fashion similar to when Leadoni spawned in the wall of the Abandoned Tunnel, so I don't think it's too far-fetched of an idea. I also believe that this is a repeatable occurrence, as the door will always lead you to the same part of Shopper's Row and the oni have different spawning points depending on which one it is (Gargaros spawns decently far, Ogralus usually spawns a bit closer, and Orcanos typically spawns right next to you). If you can get Gargaros to appear when entering that door in the Infinite Inferno, I'm sure at least someone can get this to happen again.
