The engagement between Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) and the Charlotte Executive Leadership Council (CELC) is an innovative public-private partnership to leverage the talent, resources and commitment of Charlotte-Mecklenburg’s corporate community and higher education partners to strengthen our public school district.

Now in its third school year, the program is managed by the CMS Foundation and includes a variety of engagement strategies, including immersive residency experiences, project consulting, leadership advisories, resource sharing, and financial contributions.
