*Carne con chile translates to "meat with chili" in Spanish. It refers to a Mexican stew, typically made with beef or pork, simmered in a rich chili sauce. While often confused with "chili con carne," which is a Tex-Mex dish, "carne con chile" is a distinct dish with its own variations and regional styles. In Sonora, Mx carne con Chile is made by using tender, shredded pieces of beef.

Ingredients
3 pounds of chuck
4 cups of water
1 Chile verde
1 an onion
1 small garlic bulb
2 Tbsp potatoes
2 potatoes
3 Tbsp lard or oil
1/2 cup guajillo Chile powder
4 to 5 cups beef broth
4oz of tomato sauce

Serve in a bowl with a side of tortillas or make into a burrito
