A person was found dead on a street in Auckland's Mt Albert on Tuesday, May 24.

Police were called to Alberton Ave in Mt Albert around 7pm and confirmed a person had died.

The circumstances of the person’s death were not clear ta the time and enquiries were underway to find out more, a police spokesperson said.
