How to Keep Blue Dolphin Cichlids | Complete Care & Breeding Guide

Today's video is a care and breeding guide on the Blue Dolphin Cichlid (cyrtocara moorii). They are beautiful cichlids with amazing bright blue color, and unique nuchal humps, face and mouth, resembling an actual dolphin.

Blue Dolphin cichlids are African cichlids from Lake Malawi. As a member of the haplochromis family, the blue dolphin does get large and needs plenty of open water swimming space and a large tank. Blue Dolphins are one of the most unique looking cichlids you will fine, and as long as you get a few of the basics right, keeping the moorii cichlid is pretty simple.
