Sealing Tiles with Dupli Color Engine Spray Part 1

I’m experimenting with Dupli color engine high glossy enamel spray to use as a sealer on poured tiles that I plan to make into coasters. I’m looking for an alternative that would give me a very high shine and also a product that Could be used for hot and cold drinks as a coaster.

In this video I’m doing an experiment with the product that is heat resistant to 250°F. I’m showing you step-by-step how I did the experiment how many coats I put on how long I waited and video of the results.

I plan to do a part two video using the 500° heat resistant spray and repeating the same experiments as in this video.

I have used epoxy resin twice on glassware and I do not have the proper safety protection gear as well as an HVAC intake /outtake system that is necessary to use it safely. No epoxy resin is safe without proper gear and precautions.

Two weeks later, after “curing” the cup still sticks!
